Here we are: centrifugal fans with forward curved blades and AC motor already compliant with ErP 2020 !

By adopting the Kyoto Protocol, the European Union has undertaken to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 20 percent by 2020. To achieve this climate goal, the EU adopted the ErP Directive (Energy-related Products Directive).

After the previous commitments for fan efficiency improvement, started on January 1st 2013 and January 1st 2015, next objectives of the regulation are established for 1st of January 2020, with even stricter expected limits.

Despite the implementation guidelines are not officially released yet, CMC Ventilazione has been working for a long time to make its fans compliant to the new standards and proudly announce now that many of its centrifugal fans with forward curved blades, distinguished by the acoustic comfort and air flow uniformity, are already compliant and available.

The care put by CMC Ventilazione to each request coming from our customers for robust and simply solutions led us to design asynchronous (AC) ErP 2020 fans for all the models of its product lines (impeller from 7” to 15”) as well as an alternative with the brushless motor used in EC  models.
